Pick It

Pick It is an obstacle in Double Dare.

They found that contestants had trouble with Pick It. It was difficult to feel the difference between the pudding they made the snot from and the flag's vinyl. They eventually added an air cannon to "sneeze" the flag out.^[1]

Style[]

This obstacle consists of a giant nose with green sponge/foam "boogers". Once contestants reach this obstacle, they have to pick out the "boogers" (hence the name of this obstacle) resulting in slime "snot" coming out of the nose. After the "snot" comes out of the nose, the flag has to be picked out and thrown down before moving to the next obstacle.

During Family Double Dare, Pick It would look a lot more grosser with snot all around the nose, or flies or toilet paper around it. In the 1992 season of Family Double Dare, it was called 'Da Nose'.

While the obstacle had sunglasses in every version, its eyes can be seen through the shades in Double Dare 2000.

In some episodes, minus the 2018 version, the nose would sneeze.
